How tuition works
We don't print tuition here, because it depends on the schedule. Here is what sets it and how it is paid.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the schedule you choose (three mornings, five mornings or the full day) and on your child's age group. Our figures are on our enrollment page, and we go through them with you on a tour.
The schedule you pick
Three mornings, five mornings or full day
Afternoon care, if you need it
Registration
A registration fee covers the enrollment file and the first set of materials. It is due when you apply, and the enrollment page says what it is.
Holding a place
A place is held once we have your enrollment form and a deposit, and the deposit goes toward the first month. When a group is full, families join a waitlist, and we offer places in the order families joined.

The waitlist is by schedule
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly and paid by autopay through our parent portal, with a pause in July and August. If another arrangement would help your family, tell us at the tour.
Help with tuition
Ask us whether state child care assistance works with our tuition. We will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do, and we would rather you ask before you apply.
Siblings
When a second child joins, tell us. We handle brothers and sisters differently, and we go through how at the tour.
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a child leaves, so that we can offer the place to a family on the waitlist. The enrollment agreement says what happens to a month in progress.
Materials, festivals and other costs
A few costs sit outside tuition: materials, the festival suppers and afternoon care. Each one is on the enrollment page with what it covers.
Materials: wool, beeswax, paints
Festivals: the lantern walk and the May garland
